“ Hotel was rather shabby looking, taped old worn smelly carpets, missing Wood on the bathroom door (room 220) rusty shower head in the gym changing room and badly in need of a refurb but for the price we paid, well, you get what you pay for I guess. Stayed for a friends wedding down the road at Samlesbury Hall.
“ Top Tip: If taxi-ing back from Samlesbury Hall, be careful if you use a Blackburn taxi company as we paid 3.70 to get there in a Preston car, and £14 to get home again! Ouch! It's less than 2 mile!

“ Staff as always are polite, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately the hotel is in serious need of renovation. My room had a huge old tv with half a green screen, a broken window catch which allowed the wind in and a toilet seat with the white covering worn off. My colleagues central heating did not work. The lounge seating was very worn and dirty with the arms literally black with old dirt.
