Originally built in the 17th Century by the Chieftain of the Clan McNab as a hostelry for his fellow Clansmen travelling to the north. “ Dreadnought hotel was very central and close to other bars, shops and transport. Could do with updating but great value for money and would certainly return. Staff very friendly and helpful.

“ thought the rooms were spacious and clean the shower wasn't very good!! meals were good too!! entertainment wasn't up to much when we were there only karaoke and disco and i think thats why there wasn't a lot of people there !!
“ Top Tip: We went to the crown hotel who had live singer on and then karaoke it was brilliant the staff were great too thumbs up very good. the riverside was good as well !!!

“ Enjoyed our stay. Yes it is an old hotel 1891 - but it is very clean and very warm and the staff were brilliant. Would deffo stay again. We had our two dogs with us and it was no problem at all.
“ Top Tip: The inn across the road is also very friendly - but the hotel is just as good and prob cheaper too.
