“ Hotel was clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast good choice of food. A bit noisy with the traffice could do with double glazing fitted. The lift was very small, could barely get our son's wheelchair in. Overall a nice stay.

The Walmer guesthouse is easily found lying just off the M9 in Bridge of Allan near Stirling. Bridge of Allan is a picturesque village steeped in history about 3 miles from Stirling and within walking distance of many Stirling tourist attractions such as the William Wallace monument and the University of Stirling. Our guesthouse is the nearest to the university.Our new restaurant is one of the best in the area and residents can enjoy a 2 course set choice dinner at £ 13.95 or £ 15.95 per person . You will find the Walmer guest house a comfortable haven in the heart of Scotland offering friendly and accommodating service at good guest house rates. The guest house has been managed and owned by Jan and Claudio's family for over 15 years. The old restaurant has been relocated to new premises and has now become one of the best dining experiences in central Scotland. The restaurant is about 800 yards from the guest house by car.
