Acorn Cottage Bed and Breakfast is a picturesque former farmhouse set within half an acre of gardens in West Devon on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and close to the Cornish border.Acorn Cottage is a 5 minute drive from Tavistock (voted Best Market Town in 2005) which provides excellent shops pubs restaurants a pannier market Tues. to Sat.a swimming pool and The Wharf entertainment centre with cinema art gallery and concert hall. An ideal base for exploring the South West with easy access to Dartmoor and the outstanding peninsula coastline. We are also located just off the Devon Coast to Coast (Route 27) part of the national cycle network. There are several National Trust properties nearby as well as other gardens. The Eden Project is about an hour away. There is a golf course 2 miles away and a gliding club about 1 mile away. We can cater for vegetarians and other special diets.
