Set in 16 acres of grounds Holiday Inn Newcastle-upon-Tyne is situated adjacent to the A19A1 (North) and within easy reach of the beautiful Northumbrian Coastline. The renowned Metro Centre and Eldon Square are close by and offer possibly the best shopping facilities in Europe. The hotel's wide range of facilities are complemented by an excellent restaurant and bar. Bedrooms are spacious and well equipped and all ground floor rooms have been recently refurbished to a fantastically contemporary and high standard. The hotel is fully non smoking. Facilities in the health and fitness club includes an indoor-heated swimming pool steam room sauna seperate weights and cardiovasclar rooms and a beauty salon (pre bookings required). Access to the Club is via our Hotel main Reception as it is un-manned. Reservations are fully pre paid at the time of booking with no cancellations or ammendments allowed. The car park has 40 spaces free of charge to guests whilst staying in the hotel, available on a first-come first-served basis. This completely non-smoking hotel offers spacious en-suite rooms, TV in every room, tea and coffee making facilities, plus a Little Chef onsite.
“ The worst hotel experience I have ever had. Shabby smelly bedroom lack of management control - a group of alcohol fuel males run riot all night. We gave up at 4.30 am and bailed out. This is our second bad experience with this hotel chain, we will never use it again.
