“ We booked a classic room with 'Cathedral view' as advised on Trip Adviser and the £i0 extra was so worth it.Room was excellent, big, elegant and very 'classy'. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast very good- especially as it also overlooked the cathedral that was bathed in sunlight.
“ Top Tip: The 'Bishop on the Bridge' was brilliant. Excellent food, service, wonderful inside seating and out the back a huge area with heaters over looking the river (if lucky as folks tend to linger). Also 'The Old Vine Hotel'. A restaurant with rooms. Lovely meals for aor party of 4 . the cathedral is a must and if you want indepth tales of all the 'nitty gritty' then ask when Reg is on. But will need a an hour and a half!

Excellent location in a lovely City, couldn't have been closer to the amenities and yet was a quite location. We had a roiom overlooking the cathedral which was lovely. the only two downsides were paying to park overnight and the cold cooked breakfast which would have been lovely if only it were hot!
would return again.
