“ The hotel was part of the Tebay motorway centre on the M6. However, it was not a typical motorway hotel, it being far superior in location, surroundings, service and meals.
“ Top Tip: Yes; the service centre shop was far superior to the usual motorway services shops. It sold a wide variety of quality goods, in particular food and a butcher shop both selling local produce.

Excellent choice for a stop-over on the way to/from Scotland. Very comfortable and well appointed room.
Only improvement I could suggest was the quality of TV reception. Our TV was unable to pick up BBC2 or BBC News24 and so I was unable to watch coverage of the Open Golf!
“ Top Tip: Excellent 2 day "package" available which includes dinner.
