“ We had a very comfortable stay. Staff pleasant and friendly. Everything very clean in room. One complaint - the hairdryer was fixed inside a drawer and the position of it meant that there was no mirror accessible to see what your hair looked like! Big drawback! Also extractor fan not working in bathroom.

Four-poster rooms and luxury suites also available. Eighteen our 2 AA rosette award winning restaurant is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. The Pennington Lounge and Bar@Eighteen are open to non-residents. Full room service meals are available until 10 pm. Morning coffee or traditional afternoon cream tea can be taken in the Penington Lounge an excellent vantage point for the Guard change march past. The Castle Hotel has extensive Conference and Banqueting facilities suitable for weddings parties and private dining.
“ Bedrooms are large, quiet and have wonderfully comfortable beds. Bathrooms spotless and lots of room for two people's belongings on a convenient shelf under a big wide mirror. The hotel staff were all charming and friendly.
