The Hotel staff were Top Class..the room was clean( apart from a sewer smell from the hand basin..!!!!!!) and the hotel is in a good location.
The only Gripe i had while staying there was;
1.Car parking Fee..!.. it was shocking the price you had to pay,the car park area is part of the Hotel grounds this should be free,especially when you are paying good money for a room it just felt like you were getting screwed over(a bit like what this Government is doing ...!!!)I would recomend the Hotel to friends but how ever make them aware of the Parking charges to which i feel is a shame. because the Hotel could lose out on alot of custom,,!!!

“ This is a fairly new hotel about 15 minutes' walk from York Minster. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. About 10 minutes after we'd checked in they phoned us to make sure everything was OK with the room, which we appreciated. There was one small problem (the TV remote was missing) but someone came to bring us a replacement within 10 minutes. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a view over the river. Our only criticism would be the cost of breakfast. We thought £13 per person was too expensive for what was available and decided to go out for breakfast instead.

the room very clean entrance and passageways kept tidy
the hotel is in the town but not near any of the noisey clubs
just 3-5 mins walk to town centre
“ Top Tip: lots of good eating places at all price scales and lots of pubs too

“ The hotel was lovely and just a short walk into York so perfect for day and night. Personal touches such as the TV home screen displaying a welcome note addressing us by name made it very welcoming. Staff were very welcoming and parking facilities were excellent, the only downside was the expensive breakfast, we decided to have breakfast elsewhere...but it did smell lovely!
