Hotel was over priced at $500 per night for 2 with the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had. The 'buffet style' breakfast was devoid of cereal which had run out at 8.00am! The scrambled egg and bacon was horrid and all served into a take away box affair to be eaten with plastic cutlery. Coffee and tea are in takeaway cups. Even though the hotel is express guests should have a choice of using cutlery and china.
The final sting in the tail was the extra $48 dollar parking charge.
The ONLY redeeming thing for us was the politeness of the staff and the proximity to the piers for the Alcatraz trip.
“ Top Tip: Alcatraz boat trip is 10 minutes walk away and this is good location for taking the street cars around the city.

“ Breakfast disappointing - plastic cutlery, paper cups and plates and run by amatuer outside caterers. Because of the breakfast I would not recommend this hotel to a friend - room only yes!
“ Top Tip: A very good Italian restaurant "Pescatore" further up the street.

“ great location room was nice and staff friendly. breakfast area got a bit busy at times. not far too walk to the front and along to pier 39 fat time
“ Top Tip: Alcatraz and fish and chips in between pier 39 and the wharf sign small stand with benches outside fab fish

“ The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were courteous. The room was very pleasant and the maid service very good.
“ Top Tip: The hotel is close to Pier 39 with it's numerous shops and restaurants. It is also close to two of the cable car terminals which made it easy to travel into the centre of the city.
