an old hotel with a lot of history, wonderful place with loads of charater, friendly welcoming staff, comfortable rooms and lovely swimming pool set in the gardens.
place in need of some modernisation and a new roof, (due to close and be completely refurbished early 2009, i hope it does not loose its charm!)
much nicer place to stay than todays modern "box" motels

“ this is a very historic original wooden structure that is charming but in need of some TLC,it was badly damaged during the hurricanes of 2006 (i think )and has just been bought by a company who plan to spend a massive amount on it.the rooms are large and comfortable and the place has faded grandeur all of its own.the staff were great, the free bus to the beach very handy-we would love to stay there when it's been revamped-but meanwhile it's still worth a visit.
“ Top Tip: go to pier 60 at sunset and watch the activities and the going down of the sun.the hotels beach cabana club is great and has a friendly french chef.

“
This was the perfect location for our first time to Clearwater. A beautiful historic hotel with plenty of charm!
Our room was large with high ceilings and serviced fully everyday. Service from the front desk was always with a smile!
We would definitely consider going back again!

“ The Belleview Biltmore was a wonderful experience. We were given a splendid room overlooking the pool and garden. The hotel is a Heritage site with an amazing history. Edisson turned on the first electric lights there. The Duke & Duchess of Windsor were regular guests and we were there for around £50 per day! Fridges if not fitted can be requested. There is casual and more formal dining options and access to a first class beach cabana with complementary transport. WE had famly staying at a nearby hotel but the children preferred our pool, climbing frame and the various games that were available. Internet is free and coffee is available at no cost from the coffee shop in the morning. We would stay there again were it ever to be available at the same price. 2 room Suites were available @$150 per day. Thank you very much, particularly as other sites were offering the same accommodation at much higher prices. And by the way, it is the easiet hotel to find coming west from Orlando. I am grateful to you for offering this feedback as it had been my intention to contact you to bring your attention to the great deal you fixed for us. Thank you.
“ Top Tip: La Bouchon, restaurant is close by on Indian Rocks. It offers a mainly French menu but there are other options. It was one of the few places we visited where the portions would not feed a small village. The meals were the best we found in Florida and the costs in $ were much what you would expect to pay in £s at home. It is not to be missed. We went three times in a week.
