Rooms where of a basic standard, needed a some T.L.C!, staff on arrival friendly.
Check you get breakfast included as this became an issue when we were questioned on our first visit to the restaurant, keep your Itinery avialable as this proved very useful in proving we had already paid Bed and Breakfast. We found staff on a number of occasions very abrupt (rude) and begged the question who was the customer?
This was not just our own experience as we witnessed other guests having issues during our stay also.
We have stayed in many Holiday Inns and this is why we booked this one as they have been all a similar standard, however this by far is the worst, and we would not consider staying here on future occasions.
Also check your final bill, we had already paid through Travel Republic upfront, on reading our bill the hotel charged us again.

Top Tip:
Keep booking Reference and Itinery close to hand and make sure you get the relevant vouchers for Bed and Breakfast at check-in, to avoid any issues later in your stay.
The Beach and Pool are very nice but both got very busy and crowded.
Food and Drink at the hotel was good, but you can eat out to a similar standard for less!

We originally booked 1 night at the Holiday Inn but were so impressed with the facilities that we stayed for a further 3 nights. The rooms, pool area, location and hotel staff were all 1st class and I would recommend to anyone.
Clearwater itself is a superb place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing break from the theme parks in Orlando.

Top Tip:
A member of staff at the Holiday Inn recommended a restaurant in Clearwater called Smokey Bones. It is roughly a 15 minute drive back towards Tampa but it is well worth a visit.
