“ Rooms are standard. Hotel is right on the beach, with a couple of restaurants and a bar. Poole area was very busy when we visited - but is was an american holiday weekend. Beach was very nice, but had a lot of jellyfish that made swimming not advisable. Beach bar good value, entrainment in the evening with good food. Overall very good value for money.

Very poor. Avoid unless you're desperate for a place to stay in Cocoa!
We visited the same hotel about 6 years ago and it was really nice. Unfortunately it looks like it hasn't seen a lick of paint in the last 6 years; apart from the reception which is tip top but that masks the state of the rest of the place.
Staff weren't that helpful
We found a cockroach in our room and waited ages to be moved
In 13 visits to the states i have never had a cockroach in any room
The AC was broken in the room as well
According to the manager they are 'renovating' and doing the place up. It certainly needs it...

“ Great location to the beach. Restaurant food - excellent quality and service. Rooms are very clean, but are looking a little tired. Shame about the rebuilding work being done to the ocean front rooms, which meant we could not be allocated any of these.

“ Undergoing refurbishment yet not made clear when booking. Builders' noise and rubbish everywhere. Pools quite nice, but "gym" closed. Kids Suite was a large glorified "motel" room in need of a complete overhaul. No sign of the "ocean view" we requested. Avoid.
“ Top Tip: Must go to Ron Jons surf shop. Kennedy Space Centre also worth the visit.
