“ Smoking is permitted in the casino situated on the ground floor of the hotel. It is impossible to access non smoking areas (which are few) without passing through very Smokey areas. My wife developed a wheeze and a cough as a result and had sleepless night as a result. I ft nausea as a result of inhaling this smoke. Restaurants in the hotel offered smoking and no smoking areas however smoke was still present in the no smoking areas. In areas where it was no smoking ie lifts and corridors leading to no smoking rooms people still smoked and the hotel made no effort to enforce the no smoking. Our views were drawn to the duty manager who was very polite but not really concerned. It appears that making money in the casino is the priority. We checked out a day early and having stayed at the hard rock hotel in Orlando had much higher expectations of the Miami /fort lauderdale hardrock. We we very dissatisfied.
