Albion Hotel

“ Hotel seemed a little shabby, as if it was a top hotel years ago but now not amongst the better ones.
Lady on Reception wasn't very friendly.
Food served for breakfast and lunch was where people walk past to the pool/gym area.
Rooms were very noisy. Could hear anything from ajoining rooms.
No tea or coffee in rooms (at Hotel we came from in Chicago we had coffee/tea etc in rooms and in receptin area for all to use as and when.

“ Top Tip: Lincoln Mall was very nice but the area down Collins Ave seemed a little undesireable. Saw many people arrested by police, drunk etc.

“ Good friendly service from all the staff. Everyone was more than helpful to point out local points of interest and where to go for good restaurants. The breakfast bar serves a nice continental breakfast.

“ Top Tip: Great location right at the end of the Lincoln Road Mall. Close to all the shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

“ Very nice hotel!! Looks even better in person, especially the pool. Would definitely recommend and stay here again:) About 10mins walk to the beach and less than 5mins walk from all the restaurants, bars and shopping.

“ Top Tip: The best BBQ restaurant on Washington avenue called BBQ Beach. Yummy food and the least we paid for a meal!

“ The hotel was Ok, the street it was on is a busy one and there was noise at night, even with the window closed. The lobby is nice as was the pool, the rooms are average with small bathrooms. We did not have breakfast there, though it looked nice. It is not right next to the beach though it is not too far to walk. A few things did not work (safe) and they did send someone to fix it but it was annoying to have to ask and then wait. The valet parking was also annoying as you had to ask in advance for your car and then wait around for it, depending on what the guy who parked the cars was doing, for $30 a day, this was kind of a pain. I don't think of this as a 4 star hotel but given the price it was reasonable.

“ Top Tip: Good pizza at Pizza Rustica on Lincoln Road.
