“ Top Tip: Only one restaurent close by which was an italian restaruent named Carrabba's Italian Grill, 3925 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach. I highly recommend this restaurent for the quality of the food abd friendliness of staff

“ Top Tip: Carabas Italian restaurant has very good food and is reasonably priced. Also only 5 minutes walk from hotel.

“ The hotel was great it didn’t look much from the outside but once we went inside it was great, the people were very friendly and the bed linen was changed daily. The lobby was all open plan and modern with nice comfortable chairs to sit in. The bar was also in the lobby but to one side. It has a happy hour from 5-7 PM where you could side down and relax before going up to your room for a shower. The pool area was great and had sufficient sun loungers to lie on at the time of the year we were there but there was only a limited of umbrellas. The hotel next door was owned by the same people and this had a very big Jacuzzi and no one appeared to mind if you used it. Between the hotel and the beach is a wooden walkway that appears to run the length of south beach which is great for a stroll after dinner. The beach has fine sand and the sea was very warm.

Top Tip:
Get the Airport express that goes down Collins Ave to the hotel it’s $2.35 per person and drops you off 50m (42nd street) from the hotel our taxi’s from the airport cost $45.
We did eat on Lincoln Street which is between 17th and 16th street on a couple of Occasions but found the food in the hotel much better.
There is a subways about 150m from the hotel which was great for lunch

“ The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel overlooked the boardwalk and beach and had an ouside swimming pool. My only criticism was loud and sometimes thumping music being played all day at the poolside. There is a store just up the road where you can buy basic foodstuff etc. There was a frequent bus service running almost directly outside the hotel to take you to the shopping/ restaurant area. A good value hotel.
“ Top Tip: There is a Subway sandwich shop within easy walking distance of the hotel where you can get breakfast or lunch to eat beside the pool..

“ The best thing about this hotel is the service. The staff could not be more helpful. It's located on Mid Beach which makes it more suitable for families and those wanting a quieter holiday. It's right on the beach and has a pool, hot tub and outdoor bar.
“ Top Tip: The hotel is on the "S" bus route which is perfect for getting onto South Beach for $2 (the buses run 24hrs) or you can also get a taxi for about $10. Also recommend getting the "S" bus north to Aventura Mall. Loads of shops in one place. The hotel is next door to the Fontainblue and Eden Roc - both have bars which open later than the Holiday Inn bar. Eden Roc have a Happy Hour 4-6pm where you can get some great cocktails for $5.
