This was our first time in Miami Beach and the Fontainebleu did not disappoint. We arrived from a cruise at 9:30am and were allowed to check in early even tough check in is usually from 2pm. Our room was on the 16th floor and had a fantastic view of Miami Beach and the pool area.
The pools were fantastic and the staff very helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel but there was plenty to choose from if you wanted to. On arrival we were given booklets for Kids Eat free with a voucher for each day of our stay and vouchers for our children to have a free ice cream every day.
The lifeguards at the kids pool were great. Mario used to get into the pool to supervise and play with the kids - even taking one of mine down the waterslide until he gained his confidence.
We had a fantastic time - it's not the cheapest hotel but in our opinion worth every penny.

NOt 5 star. Dreadful with children - e.g. unsafe beds that caused my daughter to be scarred on her face. No reaction from staff when told.
Rude staff in restaurant and pool area. Didn't feel like the luxury we were expecting.
Probably great to drop n for a cocktail, but not to stay with a family.

“ The hotel was fantastic, nothing more you could ask for. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. The rooms are brilliant, had a sea view room, nothing can beat getting up to that view.
“ Top Tip: Tamarid Thai is a short taxi ride away, north of the hotel. Best Thai restaurant I have ever been to and at a moderate price

“ Vast hotel and a little bit anonymous - lacks the personal touch of a boutique hotel. Nevertheless, high standard throughout. Everything is extra though - gym, internet and drinks are sky high.
“ Top Tip: Nearby to kosher restaurants and synagogues so good for the kosher traveller
