Good location on I Drive. Main hotel with internal corridors. Great bar area with pool tables which is handy for families. Helpful staff at check in desk. Large rooms with fridges and microwaves. Handy for keeping drinks cool or warming milk.
Would stay again.

Good hotel in central location on International Drive. 30 minute walk from Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure and City Walk. Bus stop almost right outside (Lynx number 42 from Airport gets you to International Drive for 2 dollars per person) and the I-drive Trolley stop which is really useful is just in front of the hotel.
Room was clean, a good size and functional with a fridge (very handy for cold drinks), microwave and coffee machine. We took a travel kettle with us as no kettles provided. The beds were comfy and air conditioning a God-send. Safe in the room at no extra charge. No breakfast provided but it was available. However there are Breakfast buffets available within minutes of the hotel which are cheaper and brilliant food. Convenience store also very expensive and there are shops nearby for drinks and snacks which are better value for money.
The pool area was really good and they provide towels for use outside.
My only complaint was that we were 'pounced' upon by the porter as soon as we checked in at the desk. He took our bags up to the room and then spent too long telling us about different offers and trips he could arrange. We had just been on an 8 hour flight and had been awake for 20 hours plus. All we wanted to do was freshen up, get something to eat and then sleep. He didn't seem to take the hint. We also found that all of the vouchers and offers he gave us for restaurants and shopping centres were available in the free voucher books and guides available all over Orlando.
Another observation was that we noticed the maid service changed soap and towels every day. We didn't require this and felt it was a waste of perfectly good soap so put the Do Not Disturb sign on when we didn't want anything changed.
“
Top Tip:
CiCi's Pizza (Several locations) do an all you can eat buffet for $5.99 lunch or dinner and it's good food. You can get a voucher in one of the many guides for a buy one get one free if you buy two drink refills. Really good value for money.
Breakfast Buffets at the Ponderosa right across the street and Sizzler which is further away are brilliant. There is also a steak house on the same row of shops as the Dairy Queen which do a breakfast buffet which we found to be quieter and brilliant service.
If you want to spend a bit more on an evening meal out, Chili's does good mexican food and cocktails.
Universal Studios is really close and easy to get to. Highly recommend this! |We bought tickets before we left for unlimited access to both parks for 14 days and it was worth every penny!

The location of the hotel was great situated in the middle of International Drive , the hotel itself is dated a little gloomy, and the rooms are not suites , have a microwave and fridge only. The rooms have no balconies.
There are two buildings - tower - and a smaller 3 storey building closer to the pool, and better if you don't like high rise.
The pool is nice , however there is no spa pool, there is no outside bar there is one inside, open in the evening only. There is a early evening happy hour , think drinks are half price.
The hotel does provide an adequate buffet breakfast service , this in not complimentary - the cost is from $4.99 to $8.00. There is a great Japanese restaurant within the hotel , meals cooked fresh in front of you and a reasonable price.
If you want a basic hotel with no free breakfast, close to all attractions- then this hotel is for you, the deputy manager is a great guy really helpful and bar man friendly, so are all the other staff members, and will make for a pleasant stay.

Top Tip:
As said, try the onsite Japanese restaurant- Shogun- real nice food and a great experience.
I don't believe that the hotel caters for other meals only breakfast.
The I trolley stops ( $1.25 adults per ride- child under 12 free- Senior Citizens 25 cents ) and Lynx bus stops, are outside the hotel.
The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the parks- ask for a boarding pass before you get on the bus and make sure you get on the right one - ask for information first !
Hotel is close to all restaurants- both walking and by a bus ride - shopping malls are either end of International Drive. Wet and Wild is across the road, Universal is around a 10 / 15 minute bus ride, car ride / taxi ride ( costs around $6 for the ride - one way, great to get back from City walk late) , you could walk not that far may take you around half an hour.
If you want a change from fast food try Sweet Tomatoes ,on International Drive fresh buffet, not expensive , not steak orientated - ideal for vegetarians !
also another great place to eat is Bahama Breeze , food excellent and reasonable again on International Drive. Be aware that the I trolley bus only runs until about 10:30 pm , you would need to take a taxi or the Lynx to get home unless you have a car of course. As said hotel is close to all attractions and right in the middle of International Drive, that is, in my opinion the best feature of this hotel.
