Built in 2000 and renovated in 2005, this hotel comprises a main building and 16 annexes, each with 5 floors and with a total of 1,100 apartments. Guests are welcomed in the air-conditioned lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception desk, safes, lifts, and a cloakroom. Dining options within the hotel include a bar with a snooker table and a restaurant. The hotel also features a small supermarket, a delicatessen, a games room, and a playground where younger guests can let off steam. Parking spaces are available in the hotel car park.This family-friendly hotel is situated at the southern end of International Drive and is some 3 km from Sea World and Lake Buena Vista. Walt Disney World is approximately 10 km away.These tasteful, carpeted apartments come with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, 2 satellite/ cable TVs (in the lounge/bedroom), a radio, and Internet connection also comes as standard. Each apartment also has a kitchen with a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Further fittings include a washing machine, a tumble dryer, ironing equipment, individual air conditioning and heating, a hire safe, and a balcony or terrace. The apartments for 4 persons include a combined lounge/bedroom, with a sofa bed for 2 persons and a separate bedroom with a king-size bed. The apartments for 6 persons include 2 bedrooms with king-size bed in one and 2 queen-size beds in the other as well as a sofa bed for 2 persons in the lounge.In the hotel grounds there is an extensive pool area with a sun terrace, and a paddling pool. Further leisure options include a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a steam room, and a massage service. Sports enthusiasts can work out in the gym, or play tennis and billiards. An activity programme keeps children entertained.From Orlando International Airport: North airport exit to Toll Road 528 westbound. Toll Road 528 westbound to exit #1 (International Drive). At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left. The resort will be 5 kms ahead on the left.Guests can use the hotel's complimentary shuttle bus to visit the theme park, Walt Disney World. Rooms include daily housekeeping. Rollaway beds available for a fee payable locally by the guest.

“ The Hotel was really good. Pool beds were always available and the hotel policy of not allowing beds to be held while not being used is a great idea. The provision of pool towels is also a bonus. The wi-fi was sometimes difficult and slow but might be related to the room/block you are located in. Watch out for the offer of a free breakfast and reduced park ticket prices ! It seems this resort has owner occupier properties also, so the hard sell is on. Its reminiscent of the old time share roadshows in Spain. In fairness, while the staff do push the meet and greet, once you decline the offer, they leave you alone. I would definately return to this hotel and would recommend it to family and friends.
“ Top Tip: You should have a car if you stay here. Parking is free and cars are cheap enough. I suppose I would recommend a car no matter where I stayed in Orlando.

great place to stay.close to all theme parks.
Rooms have full kitchen with washer and drier,hob,microwave,fridgefreezer,iron,flat screen tv,dvd and music system.another tv in bedroom.
There is a restaurant on site and 2 swimming pools.Everywhere is spotless and any problems you may have are quickly sorted with one phone call to reception.The resort is a timeshared owned property and you do get invited to a presentation with a $100 cash incentive for attending but just say no thanks and they dont bother you.Will be returning next year.

Top Tip:
Great shopping at Premium outlets less than 5 mins drive(turn left out of resort), Millenia Mall is more upmarket with fantastic shops and next to it is the Cheesecake factory where the food is great and you will want to return.Prime outlets is down international drive (turn right out of resort) as far as you can go about 15 mins drive.
Other places to eat are the Outback steakhouse,Red lobster and Olive garden.

“ The resort caters for all types of traveller and holiday style with plenty of leisure and recreational activities. Close to low-high price restaurants and a large Publix supermarket with plenty of choice for stay-in self-catering option. Easy access to theme parks by public transport, hotel concierge or hire car. Public transport to Sea World and Universal too easy and cheap ($4 return) so no need for resort transportation. Sheraton have a very aggressive time-share sales force....so simply ignore all contact attempts and the temptation of free offers...waste of precious holiday time and they have heard it all before.
“ Top Tip: Publix supermarket is great and only 5 mins away...has everything you need for budget/luxury self-catering and pretty cheap too. Get the I-Trolley to Sea World or Universal as bustop is at resort entrance.....a great alternative to driving or opting out of you are the only driver and the $14-16 per day parking fees...just $1.25 each way or $4 for multiple hop on/off.

This family-friendly hotel consists exclusively of suites spread over 3 floors. The air-conditioned reception area offers 24-hour reception service, a hotel safe and lift access. In addition, guests may make use of the cosy breakfast room. There are car parking facilities for those arriving by car.

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is located near the beach in Orlando's ® area/Lake Buena Vista neighborhood and close to Orlando Premium Outlets Vineland Ave, Downtown Disney area, and Epcot. “ Great hotel. It is a pity that the extras are not published in advance. $11 per day parking; $18 per day mandatory resort fee. If you do not want to play golf, use the gym or spa or paddle a canoe you do not get the benefit of the resort facilities. Dining in the restaurants is OK but not as good as others.
