Lake Berkley Townhomes - Hapimag

“ Absolutely brilliant, we could not have wished for better. A fully equipped house, for 2 people (no under occupancy fee) clean, good hard bed, pool on site, free parking, secure gated community, free WiFi, quiet location but close to all the main attractions what more can you ask for.

Will defiantly stay here again on our next trip to Florida, just can't believe the value for money. Ten nights accommodation was actually cheaper than our car rental!

PLEASE DO NOT be put off or worried by reviews mentioning time shares sales this is not how they operate at the Florida site due to regulations. Just go enjoy the welcome meeting. It's very friendly and they are full of good ideas of alternatives to do other than the theme parks plus, or just sit and reallax by or in the pool open to residents 24hr.

I will be recommending this place to all my friend and family. I can't rate it highly enough the staff are fantastic and nothing is to much trouble.

“ Top Tip: Not far from anything. Walmart is only 2 min away by car.

Only gripe - a few cockroaches made an appearance in our accommodation over the two weeks.

“ The receptionist charged $50.00 to my credit card on check in. This was apparently done by accident and she refunded this amount to the card. However, I will still be charged a fee by my credit card company for the transaction and amount refunded is insufficient due to the dollar to pound exchange rate.

“ We booked this self-catering accomodation in Kissimmee, FL. thinking it would be an apartment. We were actually very pleasantly surprised to find that it was a town house all to ourselves.

The property was spotless - everything was really clean including the fully appointed kitchen. We also had a laundry room with washer and dryer, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms was locked up, as the owners of the property presumably leave some of their belongings there for when they visit Florida. Having access to 2 of 3 bedrooms was not a problem since we only really needed 1 bedroom.

The property was right across from the resort clubhouse and the large pool which was open from dawn till dusk. There is also an open-air bar by the pool where you can get beers, cocktails, soft drinks etc. The prices were reasonable. There are also BBQ units available to use by Lake Berkeley itself and there is a play area for children with slides etc.

Hapimag is situated within Lake Berkeley Resort, which is a gated community making it feel very safe. There is a large Walmart just a few minutes up the road, and the Disney parks are around 15 - 20 minutes drive from the resort.

The people in the Hapimag Office were always polite and happy to talk to us. They were helpful when we asked them for directions or for information re where to go shopping etc. They never tried to sell us anything or talk us into taking any tours etc.

I would most definetely recommend this place which is ideal for families, couples, friends travelling together etc. We would stay there again without any hesitation and will use Travel Republic again for future bookings as we were very happy with the whole process which went very smoothly.

- 15 to 20 mins drive to Disney parks and Downtown Disney.
- about 20 to 25 mins drive to Universal Studios and Universal Downtown where all the bars, restaurants are etc.
- close to all the restaurants/fast food outlets/souvenir shops etc on the Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy (192)
- about 30 mins drive from Orlando Intl Airport
