“ Offering a free disney shuttle, we thought this would be a family friendly hotel, and everything was great until the convention from hell arrived. Be aware this hotel has a convention centre and check out what they have booked for your nights. Around 200 18 - 25 year olds invaded the place and took over both pools, were very raucous and not what a family with children would want. They were there and back from CVS store carrying cases of beer, and one very nice trio stole my wallet. (However it was handed into concierge minus cash, so thanks to person who did this). Personally, I think this hotel was being greedy by accepting this convention, it was always going to lower the tone, just glad it was our last 2 days and not the whole stay. All that said, very pleased with the 'villa', although we brits would call it a self-catering apartment. Nice decor, clean, home from home. We stayed 14 nights, and got fed up with restaurant menu (quite expensive for what it was), CVS across the road isn't that well-stocked and nowhere else to eat within walking distance. We chose this because of free shuttle to disney, which worked very well, although it doesn't go to the water parks, we got a taxi, but you could still get there free by using disney bus from one of the parks. Concierge very helpful with tickets, and security helpful with stolen wallet. It was perfect accommodation for us.
“ Top Tip: Only a short taxi ride to Seaworld and Aquatica, and with free disney shuttle, no need for a car if you don't want. Check out what conventions are on before you go!
