Cypress Pointe Grandevillas Hotel

“ Rollings family stayed March/April 2012. We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment with a balcany and had everything we required and more. Large bedrooms, both ensuite with a jacuzzi bath in the main, lounge and dining space, fully fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher, blender, coffee maker etc, seperate washer/dryer, ice maker in the fridge. A small supply of tea and coffee, washing up liquid, washing powder, kitchen towels were all ready and waiting and they were happy to supply more as required. All bathing and pool towels provided. We stayed for a two week period and they undertook a complimentary clean half way through renewing everything again.
The resort itself was lovely. There were numerous pools and an on site shop which opened 7am-midnight which had a takeaway restaurant also, crazy golf and a full week of entertainment for children within the activity hall and pools. All very clean and well run.
Great situation right of the main I-4 interstate, 10-20 minutes drive to the disney parks, and you are able to walk to numerous shops and restaurants within minutes. Large Winn Dixie supermarket and ABC liquor store just 2 minutes drive if buying a large amount of groceries.
There was a little bit of a push to attend a time share sort of conference in order to recieve discounted park tickets, but stand firm if you don't wish to attend.

“ Top Tip: Tips - when you shop at Winn Dixie ask for a Winn Dixie card on your first shop and you will save money when you shop. The best discount shop for gifts and momentoes is the one on the right after Walgreens as you head toward the I-4.It is called the largest discount store in the world! Good place to buy any extra luggage that you may require. Delicious restuarant at a fantastic price is Sweet Tomatoes an all you can eat, salad,soup,pizza, pasta, baked potatoes, muffins, breads, drinks and puddings for approx £7 per adult and less for kids. Check your reciept for a coupon for any further visits. Sweet Tomatoes is great for vegetarians an a welcome break from fast food. CiCis pizza is another bargain pizza, pasta, soup and salad for approx £4 per adult. Look in all the tourist magazines for a coupon and you will be given a further one on your visit.
Clearwater Bay/beach is well worth the 2 hour drive for a day of white sand and warm Gulf waters - prettier than the eastern Atlantic side. Enjoy!!

WHAT A LOCATION.

“ The rooms were very nice, the furniture etc looked expensive. Our view out on the balcony wasnt good and the balcony was very small. The bathroom was great it had 2 sinks a separate shower and toilet and a big bath , only problems were the plug didnt work in bath and the lighting in rooms very dim.

“ Top Tip: There were some great places to eat and drink but need a car so couldnt have a drink. Disney world was near and could walk if you wanted to.

“ Rooms very comfortable and clean,pool areas clean and relaxing.

“ Top Tip: Plenty of places to eat & drink,close to Disney also.
