Resort Features.
This Orlando resort has a private beach. In addition to 6 restaurants, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress offers a snack bar/deli and a coffee shop/café. A poolside bar is open for drinks. Room service is available. The resort serves full breakfasts each morning in the restaurant (surcharges apply). Recreational amenities include a golf course. Also located on site are an outdoor pool, a children's pool, outdoor tennis courts, and a health club. Spa amenities include spa services, massage/treatment rooms, facials, and body treatments. Excellent hotel, fantastic staff great location for theme parks, closer to all the major attractions than I-Drive, there are many restaurants in walking distance or a short drive away.
The resort fee is a downside but we were aware of this and we plan to return next year to same hotel.

Top Tip:
Black Angus does a good steak in walking distance, Perkins does the best breakfast. Shoes / trainers in the near by shopping area (near IHOP).
In hotel grab a coffee and a croissant rather than the hotels breakfast

We have been going to Florida on holiday since 1989 and have stayed in many great hotels and villas. In 2006 we stayed at the Hyatt and have gone there every year since ~ it's a little piece of heaven. There are many lovely hotels in the Lake Buena Vista area but it's the staff at the Hyatt that bring us back again and again. They are truly wonderful ~ nothing is ever too much bother. From the welcome at the front desk to the service in the restaurants and bars it's is second to none. We now feel like we are coming home each time we arrive for the first day of our holiday.
All being well we hope to be back next year for another fantastic holiday.
“ Top Tip: Make good use of the hotel amenities: the boats on the lake, cycling, pitch 'n' putt, tennis, swimming pools and make sure you take a walk through the extensive grounds.

My wife and I loved this hotel... From the moment we stepped in to the reception we where impressed!
Lobby was great, rooms and housekeeping are top notch, the pools, spa's and gym are great. Perfect location for the parks and close to loads of restaurants.

Top Tip:
We found lots of great places to eat but the places that really stood out where the Nascar themed restaurant at Universal City Walks, I would definitely recommend the Pot Roast at the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney, but our favourite was a meal at the Cheesecake Factory... I had the Pulled Pork sandwich and the Chocolate Coconut Cream Cheesecake that was out of this world!
As far as rides go at the parks, there are plenty of highlights... Harry Potter ride, Simpsons, Terminator 3D, Men in Black, Manta, Soarin', Aerosmith ride, Hulk I could go on and on about the attractions, but the brand newly reopened and re-imagined Star Tours at Disneys Hollywood Studios is amazing!

“ Great hotel. It is a pity that the extras are not published in advance. $11 per day parking; $18 per day mandatory resort fee. If you do not want to play golf, use the gym or spa or paddle a canoe you do not get the benefit of the resort facilities. Dining in the restaurants is OK but not as good as others.
“ Top Tip: Very close to Disney and Interstate 4 to get to other amusements and the airport.
