This was our second visit to Mystic Dunes and we enjoyed the experience as much as our first time.
It is basically a timeshare resort although there is no pressure to buy.
The resort is served by an excellent bar and restaurant which is part of the clubhouse associated with the golf course which is one of the main attractions.
There are four outdoor heated swimming pools one of which has a mini flume.
The accommodation is first rate with all mod cons eg washer /dryer, ove and integrated microwave.
The resort is only minutes drive from the 192 which has all the bars and restaurants you could wish for. It is probably only 15 minutes from Disney.
All in all we had a great time as the weather was fabulous for the end of February til we left in mid March.

Top Tip:
Many restaurants but to mention a couple we particularly enjoyed Houlihans and The Outback.
There is also a family owned British pub called the Stage Door where their Sunday roast dinner was a real treat.

Spacious apartment accommodation in a pleasant setting and grounds incl lovely pools and mini golf. Recently taken on by Diamond Resorts who are already refreshing and updating the vast amount of rooms across the resort, all very behind the scenes and not disruptive in any way to us.
Also has its own 18 hole golf course for those interested in that. Resort is only 15 mins drive from Disney and 30 mins from Universal. Only 5 mins drive from Highway 192 which is abundant in popular easy going restaurants and other diversions (such as discount stores and mini golf).
“ Top Tip: We liked Bahama Breeze, a restaurant about 5 mins on the 192 West from Old Lake Wilson Road.
