Our room was very large and clean and the bathroom was beautifully fitted out. The location of the hotel is great - near to Bourbon Street, Canal Street and the river. Reception was friendly on arrival and helpful with directions etc.
Only 2 drawbacks - we had a room at the front of the hotel which was very noise until about 3am (although we were there at mardi gras time so it might not be as bad at other times). I checked at one point to see if the window was open as it sounded so loud!!
The breakfast was a bit limited - if you didnt get there early and the bread/bagels had gone you didn't get them replenished and had to make do with what was left - ie a sticky bun. I think for the money we paid the breakfast could have had a bit more variety eg some cereals. If breakfast time is quoted as 7.30 - 10.30 then it should still be in full supply at 10 am!
