“ Good hotel in a good position on the strip. Not as posh rooms as some nearby hotels but, the rooms are large and clean and it is a lot cheaper. You should find all that you need at this hotel.
“ Top Tip: There is good food to be found in LV to suit all tastes, just look around.

“ Monte Carlo is a super hotel, with nice clean rooms. Room cleaned every day with plenty towels.Multitude of restaurants from high class to food court. Food court good option for quick and cheap breakfasts. Ate in one of restaurants and the food was very good. Big sunbathing area with heated pool, lazy river and wave pool. Music at pool very loud at weekends with disco playing. Large casino area, was not the biggest we saw but had all the games and machines. Free monorail at Monte Carlo which stopped at City Centre Hotels and Cosmopolitan and continued on to Bellagio which is a huge awsome hotel which took 20 minutes to walk through to strip or Caesars Palace. Monte Carlo for the price we paid was excellent, and the $20 per day resort fee was already paid by Travel Republic which on a 10 day stay was a bonus. Yet again Travel Republic have come up trumps.

Top Tip:
Las Vegas is awe inspiring and should definately be visited if you can afford it. No pressure put on you to gamble, so you can gamble as little or as much as you wish.
Saw Viva Elvis by Cirque de Soleil and for 90 minutes the action and music never stopped, you did not know where to look next. The acrobats etc were unbeleivable. Saw Rod Stewart at Colliseum Theatre, Caesars Palace, but did not think he gave his best performance as his beloved Celtic had been gubbed by Rangers that day. Visited Hoover Dam and had boat trip on Lake Mead wich was tremendous. Favourate Restaurants were Wicked Spoon Buffet at Cosmopolitan and Cheesecake Factory at Forum Shops, Caesars Palace.
The free nightime shows on the strip, Fountains, Pirates and Vocano were very good and should not be missed.

The Monte Carlo was a wonderful hotel. It was very central on the strip right next to New York New York. There were a number of restaurants in the hotel to suit all price ranges.
The rooms are basic for a Las Vegas hotel but still one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in in the USA, and for the price you cant go wrong.
There is not a great deal of entertainment in the hotel only the casino we found this to be an advantage as it was not full of tourists like many of the other hotels. We will be staying at the Monte Carlo on our next trip to Vegas and would recommend it to anyone visiting.
“ Top Tip: Visit Pampas, its located in the miracle mile shopping centre next to planet hollywood. Its an all you can eat Brazillian Steak house and its amazing. Make sure you get the half price ticket for $3 from the Tix4tonight stands that can be found all down the strip.

“ Good central location on the Strip. Not as upmarket or as full of attractions as some other Casino Resorts, but it is what it is. Rooms are of a reasonable standard. Ignore any comments that mention that you can hear other rooms etc.
“ Top Tip: If you want some snacks or to get some cheap drinks, go to the CVS store that is just to the North of the hotel. Or cross the Strip and go to the ABC store which is next to Hard Rock Cafe. Remember to carry your photo ID at all times as it is Nevada state law, and when paying with a cash/debit/credit card you will be asked for ID. Also if you win big you don't get your money with no ID.
