Check in - painless. I was given the option of whether I wanted a corner room. I even specified which side facing and what floor I wanted.
Room - very big, clean and well-presented. There was a coffee maker and ironing board, all that I needed. Didn't watch any telly or use the minibar so no comments on those although they were also available.
Bathroom - easy to control shower and bath. Enough towel and bathrobes. Plenty of space and very clean.
Swimming area - very small with depths ranging from 3 - 5feet. Designed for children and families. But it was fine for my meagre purposes.
Transport - the hotel had a transport system where in-house taxis would transport you to a location of your choice within a 2mile limit. You then call them when you are ready to be picked up. Very handy in a place like Houston.
Check out - painless again.
Staff in general were very polite, helpful and friendly.
“ Top Tip: Across the street there is a cafe which does no-frills breakfast which is less expensive than Ziggy's in the strip mall adjacent.
