Check-in Date: 14/Jun/2010

You couldn't ask for a better location, it's right in the heart of the city with everything within walking distance.

Top Tip It's a little difficult to find if your driving as due to all the one-way systems there is litterally one street that leads to Plaza Nueva where the hotel is located. If coming from the Malaga side of the city find your way onto the main avenue "Paseo de Cristobal Colon" (sort of a ring road around the city) and shortly after the "Plaza de Toros" keep your eyes open for "Calle Reyes Catolicos" on the right and then from this street take the 3rd right onto "Calle Zaragoza", which will lead you to Plaza Nueva. If you miss the turn for Calle Reyes Catolicos don't waste your time trying to loop around, you've got to enter from Calle Reyes Catolicos.

Or just take a Taxi or when the Tram is finished it will be great at the last stop is in the plaza just infront of the hotel.

Very pleasant hotel. Lovely stay but a little bit impersonal. It would be good to be greeted by reception and at breakfast.

However, a very good hotel.

Top Tip Hotel was very central so we were able to access most amenities. Close to the 'Metro'

Excellent location close to all main sights, good eateries & with Metro stop outside front door. Average room & bath but good view overlooking Plaza Nueva which at this time of year seemed quiet at night. Hotel itself was noisy 1st night of stay. Breakfast average for the price & Reception staff surly/sullen & unhelpful.

We would appricate a reply to our letter dated 14 March, regarding the non arrival of the Resort Hoppa paid for in advance. This caused us all a great deal of stress. Your early reply would be much appreicated

Location was fantastic, but other than that I have to say it was a bit disappointing for a 4star hotel. Some of the staff were helpful enough, but some weren't. The restaurant in the hotel is actually very good value.

Due to its 150 celebrations, everything has been restored so we found ourselves in a very large very new room. The hotel is absolutely central to all the main places to walk to. The taxi-driver told us in his opinion was th best overall hotel in the city. We tend to agree. There is a nice Irish pub attached to the hotel which seems to attract nice people. The barman is famous for his cocktails. The only thing we didn't like was that you had to pay extra for internet connection.

Top Tip Don't eat at any of the tourist tapas traps with glossy pictures outside. Follow the locals to some excelent restaurants.

rooms have just been refurbished and to a high standard. excellent location!! we walked for miles and miles. whilst out and about saw lots of hotels that we recognised from other brochures. their locations were no where near as good as the Inglaterra. i will say though that the rooms are not as soundproofed as they might make you belive. the noise in the corridors and room doors being shut were very noisy. there will be a tram system in front of the hotel too. they were trialling the system whilst we were there and should be complete any day now.

Top Tip turn right out of the hotel and turn right again down the side of the hotel and there you will find a brilliant tapas bar cheap with excellent food and drink. 5 x tapas with 4 wines and 4 large beers were just over £20.

Check-in Date: 20/May/2007

Wonderful hotel; just like hotels used to be! We had a bit of a problem finding it, due to the narrow streets and traffic but having found it we just handed the car keys to the porter, the car disappeared and our luggage appeared in our room. Like magic!
The hotel is beautifully appointed and the food in the restaurant is out of this world.
The Inglaterra is perfectly situated for sightseeing or shopping, being within easy walking distance (even for the less able) of many of Seville’s “must see” sights.
When we were ready to leave, our car re-appeared at the front door.
Brilliant!
We will certainly visit The Inglaterra again.

Top Tip Give yourself a few more days than you think; there's so much to see!
