Hotel changed on arrival from Interpalace to Semiramis. Not suitable for English. We were totally surrounded by
Germans and were the only 'Brits' there. Hotel staff did not speak or understand
English very well which I feel is unacceptable in a 5 Star hotel. Entertainment very poor.
Rooms were comfortable and the chambermaid was absolutely marvellous, very quick and super efficient.
Food not very good. Would certainly not return to this Hotel.
Loro Parque well worth a visit
Animation for children (and adults) was excellent - kids loved the mini disco! Food was very good and it was nice to be able to use the facilities at the three different hotels. Free bus to town was helpful - excellent relaxing holiday.
Lido in town is very good value
We were booked in for only one night at the Hotel. There were three of us and we were given a suite with a living room, double sleeping area, twin bedded room and large balcony. It could have been fabulous but was probably last decorated and furnished in the 1980s. The swimming pools and outdoor activities looked good. The food was buffet style, not brilliant but plentiful. Considering what we paid it was good value for money.
The staff were extremely nice, efficient and helpful. It is very clean. Make sure you get a room on a high floor facing the ocean. If not you look at other hotels in the front. The pool area is very pleasant and well landscaped. Remember you can use the pools and RESTAURANTS at the Canarife and Hotel Bonanza. You can also use the gym and spa at Hotel Bonanza. At Interpalace make sure you visit the 7th floor which is a panoramic open sun deck, very beautiful. Remember to ask to rent the safe box when you check in (about 12 euros). If you stick to the fresh fish or anything that is put on the grill right in front of you, you cannot go wrong. NO kettle in the room, coffee is awful. I had a great time at this hotel and would recommend it. It is an easy walk down to the beach (15 minutes), but you might want to take a taxi going back! It is very steep. Take advantage of the busses that go to and from the hotel during the week. MOST of the guests are German, Italian and Spanish. Only English stations are news (2). I brought my DVD player and dvds and that was a great way to relax at night. Make sure to bring your scart. If you are going to have a couple of days of rain, remember a trip to the hot arid south is not far away for a day trip.
There is a SPAR supermarket right down the street. Make sure you go to Lago Martinanez, incredible swiming. There is a wonderful outdoor inexpensive restaurant almost at the end of the complex. There are changing rooms and very nice facilities. There is a heated pool in the complex. Rent sombrilla (parasol) as you go in. Everyone is very nice and relaxed and it is perfect to spend the day there.
Comfortable room with nice bathroom. Excellent sea view. Good choice of food. Nice pool area. Parking available free. Quite a walk back up steep steps from town.
Slightly frayed but very clean ,not a new hotel but made up with the superb food, and friendly staff,.Very helpful when having to leave early due to family bereavement .
My stay was very pleasant on the whole. However it was not very pleasnt to arrive at the hotel, having booked it for 5 nights through travel republic, to be told that the hotel was fully booked for the first night, although another hotel was provided.
This hotel is situated in a ditrct of Puerto e la Cruz called La Paz. It is located slightly outside the centre of town and has commanding views acoss the the sea and Mt Teidi. this area is a little community to itself with an ample selection of hotels restaurents and bars. A great place to chill out.
The hotel had hygiene issues and was disappointing. We found the food un appetising and similar every day and the staff un-friendly
The hotel needed some freshening up as it had some very tatty areas.
We found it better in the two other hotels over the road you could also use if all inclusive.
We was there during a quite time of the year, the hotel is going through a renovating period but this didn“t distract from the good amenaties, the pool is great, sevice in the resturant and bars was very good with pleasent and helpful waiters, with the use of the two sister hotels very close by was very good as it helped with the entertainment, different resturants etc. We tried AL for the first time I can see the benefits for holidymaker with the food & local drinks free but as someone who spend approx &months in our property in Tenerife we can see the effect what this has on the local shops, bars & resturants which is not good so personelly we will not be doing that again when we stay in a hotel. But we enjoyed our stay and will be returning can recomend it
Top class hotel, all inclusive facilities were excellent. Predominently catered for Spanish, hotel has gym and spa which we stumbled across, we weren't informed of this. Pool cleaned thoroughly daily, everywhere very clean. Food was excellent, lots of variety, waiters very pleasant. Only downside was entertainment team. They mainly catered for adults (and adults didnt need entertaining) and didnt have a structured programme, tho Flo got on great with the kids. Would definitely return.
It was fabulous!
Great for us and fantastic for our 2 year old!
Staying in this hotel was very pleasant. Especially that you can use all three hotels on your all-inclusive base. Food was very good. Lots of activities: swimming pools, spa, tennis, mini-golf, ping-pong and many others. Bar's!!! Close to town center.
Best food is in Bonanza Hotel. Best swimming pool at Interpalace. Cheap taxi to hotel from town centre (only 3euro). Cheap car rental.
It's good to take one and see the Island around.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The food was of good quality with lots of choice including freshly prepared fish and meat each lunch and evening. The hotel was clean and daily room cleaning of a good standard. Our check in to the hotel was quite slow taking well over an hour to get sorted. The entertainment was pretty dire.
There are some lovely bars and restaurants near the hotel which are reasonably lively (that is for the older client!)
Puerto de la Cruz is definately the nicest resort in Tenerife (having also visited the South of the Island).
Tenerife is not a great place to visit if you are vegetarian - some places don't cater at all. The hotel buffet did but the meals were bland and quite similar.
Don't expect 4* standards to be the same as UK 4* - more like 3*
Get the free bus to Loro Parque in Peuto de la Cruz.
Enjoyed a great week at the Interpalace, absolute bargain - ate and drank far too much!
There's a nice little walk along the cliff behind the hotel, and we had a nice and very inexpensive meal at restaurant Bellamar at the walk end, with beautiful sea views
couldn't fault the hotel in any way, simple excellence of the highest order.
The reception staff were rude - the hotel was in the process of being renovated - so their was noise and dust! The restaurant was closed so you had to go to the neighbouring hotels for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. The hotel only had one person booked in - this was my 4 month old daughter - it took them nearly and hour to sort out two rooms that we could use for the night and then had to change in the morning.
