Lux Bormujos Hotel Reviews

Hotel was clean and tidy upon arrival and cleanliness was maintained throughout our stay, beds were made and new towels provided every day. Bed linen was changed twice during our 10 days. The only down side was the limited equipment in the kitchen, coffee cups had to be borrowed from the restaurant and pots and pans were limited. However the weather was so hot we soon gave up with the idea of cooking and settled for salads or eating out.

Although there are a few tourist hotels nearby the area is not set up for tourists. There are plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away which appear to be used mainly by locals, so if you are comfortable in that environment it should be ideal. The local supermarket is only two minutes away and had everything we needed.

Very helpful & informative staff. Apartment was great value for money and clean. Communal areas (lifts, stairs etc) were not so clean. Perfectly located for Ikea. Could do with directions on website - very tricky to find this apartment block.
Would stay there again.

Perfect for trips to Ikea!

I have marked below average for the following reasons. I booked S/C but had no fridge, kettle, cups, disposal bin, or drinking glasses. I recieved a studio apartment not a 1 bedroom apartment as booked. Because of the lack of equipment & no fridge I was not given the self catering option that I had booked. The apartment was however clean & roomy as mention in previous reviews.
These apartments took me 2 hours to fined, & I'm used to driving in Spain. They are no where near to IKEA, but they are however just round the corner from MACRO'S which is some 3 miles away, taking the next turnoff after IKEA then heading towards Bormujos.

Very hard to find as the name of the Hotel was not as we expected it to be i.e. Lux Bormujos Hotel. Instead it was a sort of complex called Lux etc etc can't remember the wording but it was not as we expected. It was a complex of apartments with a reception which fortunatelly for us was the so called Hotel!!. We past it by about 4 time looking for a Hotel so we thought we would ask if they could help us and we were at the correct place!!

The apartment which we had was spotless and large with selfcatering facilities i.e. sink and cooker/fridge. although we could only realy use the fridge as we booked B&B
The breakfast was fine. I would stay there again. The surounding area is ok but a little dirty in parts like any suberb I expect.

Good value for money but don't expect the front to look like a hotel!!

Parking is available at 7.5 euros undercover.

Great little hotel,near small outlet mall. Very difficult to find as no instructions on web. Went to local police and they drove and we followed. How's that for servive. Excellent regular bus to centre of seville. There is more than the one route the hotel tells you of. Leave your car at hotel, not worth the hassle.
Breakfast good. Apartment was in good condition and very clean, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Useful to have fridge and microwave, but why no kettle? We were touring and it was great to have more than a pokey bedroom. would certainly stAY AGAIN, EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY IF YOU DON'T MIND A 20 MIN BUS RIDE INTO CENTRE OF TOWN.

we were very pleased with this excellent hotel. The room is like an appartment and has a microwave which was useful to us, plus the fridge. It was incredibly clean on arrival and cleaned every day. The hotel personnel were all very friendly and some spoke English. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. There was car parking and a supermarket next door to the hotel.

Since Seville is notoriously difficult for car parking we went in by local bus. The stop is only a few minutes walk down the road and it took about 20 minutes into the centre of town. The cost was 1.10 euros each way and the bus ran every 30 minutes.

Fantastic facilities - Great location - only 15 to 20 mins from Seville Airport. Great value - Hotel staff excelent - Breakfast included and great choice

Spacious apartment, but poorly appointed. Asked for a triple, got a double. Easy drive into the centre of Seville.
