First time at the Navy hotel, the Hotel is split into two seperate buildings the original hotel and the annexe, first day we arrived they put us in the 4th floor annexe in an attic room, whilst the room was clean it had an adjoining door into a single bed room occupied by another client, after complaining they moved us into the main hotel after a couple of days, the annexe has no lift and you have to walk 4 flights of stairs, the staff and management in the hotel are fine and overall the Hotel was a good stay, the only downside is the pool area, the pool is the size of a postage stamp and you have to get up very early to get one of the few sunbeds.
Having been to Icmeler quite a few times i found the place this year very dirty and unkempt, the prices have shot up and as ever you have to watch the Turks as they are always trying to rip you off.
Probably find somewhere else to go from now as Turkey is just becoming too expensive.

Having booked this hotel in January 2010 for a June holiday I, rightly or wrongly expected a better response to my requests for a seaview, double bed and (having read all other reviews) no steps if possible. I expected the management to honour at least ONE of my requests. Deaf ears springs to mind!! We were put on the FOURTH FLOOR with endless steps at the back of the hotel looking on to someone's backyard, while our room had twin beds and sloping ceilings on which my partner (6ft.tall) constantly banged his head. On complaining to hotel management were told nothing else was available although other guests complaining at same time were moved! Finally saw Rep. day before we were due to leave. According to him he visited every day at 10.30a.m. although having spent many days by the pool this was the first time we had been made were aware of his visits.Left welcome pack at reception he said but sadly we never got this, so no Brownie Points there either for him or Reception staff!! Food at Navy Hotel was average with eggs, eggs, and more eggs the staple brekfast! Always something you could eat although I did end up with an upset tummy on more than one occasion. Would go back to Icmeler not sure about Navy Hotel, in fact many guests were only there 'cos they couldn't get their chosen hotels. Generally, good staff all round - both helpful and pleasant.

Top Tip Location of hotel is good in that it is close to everything, beach, shops restaurants and entertainment are all close by with easy access to many trips and activities.

The Monarch flight was great, we even landed early. The return flight was even better, two other flights to the UK were delayed by up to one hour but we left on time and again landed earlier than expected.

The Navy Hotel was only a short walk from all amenities and the sea. It was spotless and spacious, the hotel staff extremely helpful as were the barstaff, cook and breakfast staff. The breakfast menu was limited but more than adequate and tasty. Air conditioning worked well and quietly.

I had a great time - we even found a Fish and Chip bar close by

All the bathrooms have been refurbished since last year and are beautifully done. All staff were very helpful and courteous. The maids were a joy. Everything was fine. The only suggestion would be to have more and brighter lights in the dining area when the evenings are dark. It was only dimly lit.

Top Tip The beach is very close to the hotel where Ibrahim keeps a very clean beach and gives very good service as and when you would like it without hassle.

Unfortunately had booked us into only one twin room so moved one of us into a single room which was small and inadequate. However I was moved to another room when one became available.

Top Tip Everything about Icmeler is good

we did not stay in the hotel as the room was below ground, no balcony, and a tiny window above the bed that when opened all you couls see were peoples feet walking past. Beware that you have booked a room with a balcony and NOT a promo room

Peter from Norwich reviewed the Navy Hotel
Check-in Date: 10/Aug/2009

This hotel is situated near shops and restuarants and is a short walk to the beach. Its location can mean that it is noisy at night; although music stops at midnight in Icmeler the traffic can be noisy. The air conditionaing is excellent meaning we were nice and cool at night (in August!). Breakfast was good with a wonderful chef cooking great omlettes pancakes etc for you. Cant comment on other meals as we ate elsewhere. Rooms were kept clean with fresh towels everyday. Most staff very friendly.

Top Tip The Cocoa Beach bar is excellent both for lunch and evening meals. The Romeo and Juliet Bar next door is excellent for a friendly welcome football pool etc.,
