“ My wife and i have just enjoyed a wonderful week at the Anthelia Hotel in Tenerife. We were offered champagne on arrival and also on entry into the dining room on several evenings. We were on half board accommodation and enjoyed super food with a fantastic choice at both breakfast and dinner which were served between 7.

“ Hotel was lovely entertainment day and evening. Definitely for the 50 plus age group. Room lovely cleaned daily. Shower soaks the floor which is very annoying especially if you are the second person to go in. Very bad design.

“ Have stayed here before. Comfortable, clean rooms. The first rooms we were allocated were a bit noisy, but we were moved on request with no difficulty. The service here is excellent. We opted for the all-inclusive package which is great value especially with teenage boys! The food is good and there is a such a choice that it suits everyone.

“ A really excellent hotel - from Reception to the restaurant! The Staff were helpful and the place had a really good atmosphere. It is a little away from the centre of Playa Blanca and we were there are the start of the season so it was quiet, but this is what we wanted. We were half-board and the food was fantastic; the buffet service was varied and very well prepared and presented.
