A very enjoyable break at this Hotel, the staff were very helpful, and the room was comfortable too, so easy check in and check out as well. We would certainly stay there again.......
Very easy access to Paddington Train Station, and the Underground as well.....
A comfortable hotel in easy reach of Paddington Station & tube connections. Many rooms have great views over Hyde Park.
Checking in went very smooth and quickly.
Very friendly and courteous staff.
My second stay at this hotel this year and just as good as the first. The staff were all very pleasant and the room service was excellant.
Use the buses that stop across the street from the hotel that will take you to the west end shops and entertainments in minutes.
All the facilities were top class and made for a good family reunion
The hotle was fine but you had not informed them of the booking so I almost had no hotel to stay in an they were busyy but kindly found room. Not the stanrad I have been use to from your organisation.
Car parking is available but costs a lot more than expected (£35 for 24 hours)
Hyde Park is very close - lovely for running or just relaxing
excellent service, staff are very professional. Hotel room had an amazing view overlooking the top london points.
Fantastic hotel - opposite Kensington Gradens and tube station right outside.
We were upgraded to a suite - the best hotel room I have ever stayed in - absolutely amazing.

Hotel is well situated, just around corner from Lancaster Gate tube. Good sized, quiet room on 9th floor. Helpful staff. Restaurant staff very professional and attentive. Travel Republic price was lower than Last Minute and Hotwire - really good deal.
Oyster cards arranged in advance made travelling around London cheap and easy. The Original sightseeing bus yellow route, with live tour guide, was much more interesting than the red route with the automated guide.
We had booked the Royal Lancaster but they were overbooked. We were upgraded to The Landmark and a cab supplied, also upgraded to full English breakfast rather than continental. We were very happy about this but was slightly disappointed in the service at the hotel. Also I left my phone charger behind and as this is a 5* hotel thought there would be no problem getting it returned. They said they had no record of it which is crazy because if it wasn't in my case it had to be in the room. Would expect a lesser hotel to not be bothered but not a 5* with supposed pride in their service.
Hotel was just OK - that's all. On the booking form they ask for any special requests but ignore them anyway. The Royal Lancaster used to be a real flagship hotel but not it is understaffed and we noticed the bar staff bickering amongst themselves. Check in took a long time as there were only 2 members of staff on the desk and a whole coach load of guests had just arrived.
The downstairs bar closed at 11am which was a real shame and very curious for a bar in the centre of London which was quite busy when they announced they were closing.
Room was clean but the bed was small - just a double. Who sleeps in double bed these days? We have super king size beds at home!!
Very good and everything worked!

Hotel was very good. The only problem with the booking was that it stated that Breakfast was included as opposed to other hotels we saw had Continental Breakfast Included. When we reached the hotel it was only Continental Breakfast Included and the documentation the hotel had from Gullivers said Continental Breakfast Included whereas our travel voucher said Breakfast Included.
Christinis italian close by the hotel was very good.
The hotel was beyond my expectations. The staff were welcoming, helpfull & friendly. Plenty of choice regarding food, from afternoon tea to a late snack at the bar. I would definately book again.
Ideal place to stay if going to see Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, five minute walk.

We walked up to Notting Hill where we found some really good restaurants which were not too expensive. While in a restaurant in Notting Hill someone did try to get in to my handbag - I had automatically hung it on the back of my chair but had removed it before the guy could do anything. Another diner later told me he'd been watching the guy, that's how I found out. So be careful with handbags. Location of hotel was perfect - we flew in to Stanstead and took Express to Liverpool Street Station where we got tube (Central Line) directly to hotel couldn't have been easier. Bus stop behind hotel which takes you in to Oxford Street. A friend recommended buying an Oyster card which we used on both tube trains and buses and it made life much easier and saved quite a bit on fares.
