Tracy from Rochford reviewed the Bnibeca Villas
Check-in Date: 10/Oct/2009

The villa was lovely and we were very impressed with the representative in Menorca as she was very helpful with questions we had.

Top Tip Go in season!!! Unfortunately when we went a lot of shops and restaurants were closed for the season so were limited in choice. The beach is lovely - it is referred to as Binibeca beach and also Cala Torret beach.

Gian from London reviewed the Bnibeca Villas
Check-in Date: 24/Oct/2008

The villas are excellent for warm weather, but we went at the end of the season and it was a bit cold and windy. We did have a great holiday though and the maintenance team were great help giving extra blankets, etc...

Top Tip You do need a car for this location and to enable you to get around the island. There is a lovely zoo about 25 mins away which is great for the under 10s.

C from Flintshire reviewed the Bnibeca Villas
Check-in Date: 17/Sep/2008

The villa we stayed in was large, clean and well appointed. The pool had clearly been well maintained. The tranfer service to and from the airport was very efficient and friendly.

However, there were problems when we arrived as no one had given us keys or instructions as to where they were hidden. The driver did his best to find out for us but after about 30 minutes I climbed the locked gate and found the keys inside the villa (the front door was open).

The property is also infested with ants and we had to buy ant-powder to deal with the problem.

The property was advertised as being in Binibeca. In fact binibeca is about 5 miles away and the nearest town is Punta Prima.

The property is not near any restaurants or entertainment it is in a very quiet (but nice) residential area. Therefore we should have been advised that there is a 20 minute walk to the nearest town of Punta Prima. We would have benefited from having a car but as neither of us could drive this was out of the question for us.

Top Tip 1. Hire a car
2. The local service buses to Mahon are clean, efficient and cheap but there is a 20 minute walk to the bus stop in Punta Prima from this property.

Farley from South Normanton reviewed the Bnibeca Villas
Check-in Date: 31/Aug/2008

Absolutely fantastic, villa was spotlessly clean it had dishwasher, washer machine, full kitchen. Pool was beautiful clean warm water. Close to facilities, very quiet area. Pool man came twice in the week and maid service. Cannot fault anything about the holiday would recommend very highly.

Top Tip Punta prima beach a short drive was lovely, there was a train every half hour to the beach if needed but we hired a car. The beach within walking distance from villa was also fantastic but on one day ther was a swarm of small jelly fish so dare not let kids in the sea but locals were swimming in them so whether they sting not sure but didint want to find out! Resturant Carmen a short walk away was lovely sea view and really nice spanish owner, 3 course meal for 15Euros including garlic prawns, fresh fish, steak.

Check-in Date: 26/Jul/2008

the villa and surrounding area excellent but a misunderstanding with the transfer from the airport meant a frantic hour at the airport to get someone to advise us that we had a place to stay but no transfer that we had thought was included. ended is someone eventually advising that we did have a villa and would need to make our own way their via taxis, without speaking spanish and the taxis driver unable to read english the directions we had meant we spent another hour trying to find the villa in the dark. aside from this the holiday was great but more care in explaining the holiday and what we had paid for would have been welcome

Top Tip ensure you have your transfer from the airport booked

Check-in Date: 21/Oct/2007

There was some initial confusion at the airport as to who we were and which accomodation had been allocated, That said all the staff were very helpfull in sorting it out.

Top Tip The October half term is the last week of the season in Menorca. A lot of things (inc; resaurants) are shutting down, there was no where to eat in Bunibeca on Friday and Sat; night.

Check-in Date: 20/Oct/2006

The villa was outstanding. It was great to be unexpectedly upgraded to a three bedroom villa from a two. But, little things like no kettle and several lightbulbs not working were a shame (oh, and ants!). We also arrived in the dark (due to 7 hours flight delay) and the villa was in total darkness and was very hard to find!

Top Tip Local road train to Punta Prima was a delight and well worth the seven euros. Also, English run bar/restaurant in Binibeca Vell was great especially with my very fussy seven year old! Even though I try to avoid English food when abroad I much prefer my child doesn't starve!
