The best restaurant i have ever eaten in is dos artistas, a 5-10 walk from the hotel. Don't get confused with los artistas. I have been back year after year and never been dissapointed. It really is very very special.

LAZYJACKS, small bar in the marina had great live music and company, children in buggies, dogs, young travellers working the season, friendly and real. ACROSS THE MARINA BRIDGE, turn left and after 100m cross the road. You will find a restaurant large enough to feed 500+ diners (inside, only 30 outside) and a queue at the IN door, every lunch and every dinner time. The reason for the queue is the fantastically fresh, local, basic and honest food served, (potatoes all irregular sizes but delicious) (sardines just amazing) at very reasonable cost. Expect your wine in a toothbrush glass and your paper napkins very thin indeed but your meal will be fit for the gods!

O Amigo's bar just around the corner is excellent and there are plenty of good restaurants in the Old Town.
