  • Top Tip walk to the station get the trip to Soller on a great old train which stops on the way for the view. There is a package which takes you to Soller then tram to port and a great boat trip - great value - if you go for a long weekend do it on a Sunday when Palma can be very quiet! from John

  • city sightseeing bus-- good ito acquaint oneself with city---see castle, cathedral etc--half price for senior citizens and stops near hotel! bus to and from airport(No.1)--cheap,frequent and stops near hotel from martin

  • I can't remember what it was called but the collection of copies of famous Spanish buildings was only a short walk away and well worth the visit. I would also recommend the aquarium even if it is a bit of a drive. from William

  • The large Porto Pi shopping centre which is only about ten minutes away would be very useful on a rainy day and it opens until late in the evenings. Don't miss the walk up to Bellver Castle. It's not too far from the hotel and you soon get out of the back streets. from Janet
