- Top Tip walk to the station get the trip to Soller on a great old train which stops on the way for the view. There is a package which takes you to Soller then tram to port and a great boat trip - great value - if you go for a long weekend do it on a Sunday when Palma can be very quiet!

in grays Stayed at Costa Azul HotelApril 2008 - I can't remember what it was called but the collection of copies of famous Spanish buildings was only a short walk away and well worth the visit. I would also recommend the aquarium even if it is a bit of a drive.

in Llangollen Stayed at Catalonia Majorica HotelApril 2008 - The large Porto Pi shopping centre which is only about ten minutes away would be very useful on a rainy day and it opens until late in the evenings.
Don't miss the walk up to Bellver Castle. It's not too far from the hotel and you soon get out of the back streets.
