Central to all parts of the city and facilities. Standard 3-star, but fridge in our room wasn't working and couldn't be repaired. English speaking staff, 24 hr desk, very helpful. No balcony or great views, but location makes up for it.

Top Tip River near park behind hotel has salmon jumping the wier (in season)

The hotel is being refurbished and the new rooms and foyer look great! The staff were very friendly and spoke English. The rooms were lovely and clean and had a great view across the city. It was great value for money - although there isn't currently a restaurant due to the refurb.

Top Tip Investigate the newer part of town, opposite the bus station, where there are lots of shops - not just the old town!

Our bedroom and bathroom were recently modernised to a very high standard indeed.

The brealkfast buffet was only average for a hotel of this standard.

Our only problem was locationg the entrance to the hotel and the enmtrance to the underground parking . This was due to the hotel entrance being modernised and hopefully this is only a temprary situation.

The hotel is in an excellent position for sightseeing in the centre of Girona.,

Top Tip Nothing to report.

Good value hotel, although the decor was a little dated, in a city that mainly caters to day trip tourists. The staff have great local knowledge and are very helpful. There are good bars and restaurants within walking distance.

The Hotel is rated as a 3 star, which 3 star hotels are normally fairly decent. This is not true of this hotel. I think I would rate this one as either a 2 star or Hostel. I read a review on the hotel saying that it had recently been renovated and thought well at least it will be nice. But if you call painting over the tiles in the bathroom (to orange) and painting the BATH (obviously to white) then yes this hotel has been renovated! The sound proofing between rooms is not good either you can hear your neighbours having a general conversation. People constantly bang their room doors from 7am onwards with no considering for anyone else in the hotel. The Hotel is on the corner of a busy road (5 lanes) and scooters go up and down it constantly.

Top Tip The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the old town of Gerona which is really lovely to walk around. 5 minutes away and you are ni the main square. There is a lovely restaurant there called Ola Tapes which do great tapas food.

Nice hotel in a good location about a 10 minute walk from Girona train station and another 2-3 min walk from one of Girona's main squares where there are lots of bars & restaurants. The hotel is your average hotel this is not to say it is not good though. The rooms were decent enough althogh as in any Spanish hotel if you are on the road side it can be a little noisy, decent beds and decent bathroom cant complain really, oh and aircon which was a relief.

Top Tip There was no hairdryer in our room but we phoned reception and one was brought to our room in minutes, dont be afraid to ask.

the hotel is situated in the middle of girona a short walk from the bus station.Girona is a pleasent town ,during the summer moths can be quite busy with plenty of bar and restaurants. There are plenty of good places to visit and enjoy including the amazing catheral /church which was built around the roman times and has expanded over the years. The food and shops in Girona are all worth a visit, one of spain hidden gems.

A great value for money hotel. Ideally situated for everywhere in Gerona, everything within walking distance. Hotel staff extremely courteous and helpful, very willing to help with restaurant recommendations and directions. Room, whilst not the most modern, was very clean with fresh towels every day.

Top Tip There was a very good restaurant just around the corner whose name I can't remember but was recommended by the hotel receptionist - great BBQ.

Excellent location - 5 minutes walk to the bridge to the old town - near to a square with a number of restaurants. Helpful staff who spoke English. Lift. Hotel room itself was a little shabby and tired but for three nights OK. I don't think it is really a three star - been to better. Breakfast was fine.

Top Tip Eating out is best done at lunch time - that is when you get the best deal. Nicest places we ate were in the old town. Try the road as you cross the bridges left and right - lots of restaurants and bars - Rambla and Argencia (I think). Had a good meal at La Bistrot which is further on upward at the bottom of some steps - full of locals I think.
Walk along the ramparts - great views - if you go in winter and are there on a Saturday watch out if you want to go to the Arab Baths - they close early. Everywhere seemed dead on Sunday. Old town is lovely.

I thought the hotel was standard, the service from the fron desk was fantastic.
However, we went out for dinner the night we stayed here and on our return all we could smell was toilet - it was extremly unpleasant and also very unhygenic. It was like someone in one of the rooms had been to to the toilet and the smell had drifted straight in to our room.
It got to midnight and we could not handle it any more so we changed rooms and this was much better.
I also did not like the idea of having to lock the room door with your key from the inside...what if there was a fire - this is not very safe as you would have to try and find yoru key before getting out of the room.
The walls are very VERY thin - we could hear the people in the room next to us having sex at 3pm and we heard every little bit.
This was a great let down and would not stay here again.

Top Tip Great location.
