The grounds of the hotel are fantastically maintained with beautiful landscaped gardens everywhere you look. The interior however is in desperate need of being updated, with some very shoddy looking repairs to broken tiles and doorframes for example. The food was poor, to the extent that I lived on soup and bread for the duration of my stay and the organisation of the buffet style restaurant was somewhat lacking. The hotel has a small playground, which again needs some repair, but this was really the only facility available for my two small children. The hotel predominantly caters for Russian tourists (we were the only English people there). On a more positive note, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were a good size and, considering the price we paid for our stay, the hotel offers good value for money. We will be visiting Hurghada again later in the year but will not be staying at the Reemyvera!
