The hotel was lovely. I left the sign out saying I did not want my room cleaned and was not disturbed once. I was told by the taxi driver on my way here that it is in a very safe part of town. I also was incredibly impressed with the receptionists level of English ( I speak very fast and can be very wordy but they always understood me). They were incredibly helpful and friendly and answered all of my questions, and even helped me to find places and pinpoint places on a map for me. The only negatives were: I was provided with a kettle but they charge for tea/coffee making facilities. The walls are quite thin, so I would not advise that families go there in peak season. And there was a leak next to the skylight when it rained. To be fair, I did not point out the leak to anyone though as it did not affect me other than one of the chairs in the room becoming wet! Positives/ cool quirks were: Obvious, the beautiful patio area, that is a HUGE selling point even it bad weather it looks amazing. The shower head lights up and it's like having a rave in the shower lol. The heater in the room made it so that I could make it 30 degrees even though outside it was more like 5 degrees on one night. I imagine that it would be equally good at cooling the air in the summer.
