Overview

Price and location make one of the Yosemite Valley Lodge most sought after places to find reservations in and around Yosemite National Park. It is recommended that you carry tire chains in your vehicle between November and April. Under state regulations, any vehicle entering a signed chain control area must carry chains, even if their use is not mandatory at the time. Yosemite Valley Lodge does not have air conditioning in any guest accommodations.

Bookings of 5 rooms or more will be considered a group booking and are not applicable to FIT rates. Early departures will be charged the full amount of original reservation. No name or date changes allowed. No pets allowed.

Worst hotel ever!!! We booked a deluxe room but were given a tiny room with two double beds overlooking the car park, which to say was shabby and run down is an understatement. The staff were uninterested offered no excuse other than to paint the badly marked and damaged walls. The valley is a sweltering furnace and the food choices in the area are either food court which is worse than a school canteen, rip off restaurant or dingy pizza restaurant in the village. Don't go to the valley the waterfalls have all dried up in August much better to stay higher up.

We were a bit sceptical when we first arrived as we couldn't park near our room and had to walk quite a bit with all our luggage but once this issue was out the way we totally fell in love with Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. The room was large, plenty of space for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids 17 & 12). The views from outside our room were jaw dropping and was so peaceful. The check in staff were great and the activities desk staff were very helping when we needed advice about what treks to do. The grill area of the food court is very slow though. I know the food is all made to order but there was only ever 1 person at this area and he was left to do the cooking and serving by himself. Apart from that, the food court had a good choice and the food was good too
