A very friendly hotel, the staff were delightful and extremely helpful with tips and sorting out any enquiries. The breakfast at 5Euros plus one child free was really good. Continental but a good range of pastries, cereals, fruit and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. The bungalows were fine. The bathrooms a little basic and not much space to do much other than sleep, but better than a typical hotel room. The outside balcony was handy However, given the price (I think it worked out for us, a family of four at under £20 per night per person, including breakfast) it was good value. The town is a short walk away; I read reviews of a steep hill, but it was only the last 50 yards or so that was in any way steep.

Lovely quirky place with wooden shacks, simple but pleasant, didnt hav a problem with mossie's given other people's reviews but we used the spray n kept doors n windows shut as there was air con anyway. We didnt sit out in an amongst the nice greenery of our accomodation on an evening tho so maybe that helped. Snack bar reasonably priced. The walk into the square isnt too bad but can see why people may see it as a struggle, coming from yorkshire we were used to a hill! All in all its close to square with a pool and it was self catering so ticks those boxes. A small downside is there was no toaster.

We stayed in one the bungalows and paid 8 euros extra per night for air con which was well worth it. The bungalows are fairly small and wood clad inside. There was a kitchenette where you could prepare very simple meals such as salad or pasta. A 2 ring hob, no oven, a fridge with ice compartment. The bathroom was small and a little jaded but the accommodation was cleaned each day ie bins emptied, floors mopped etc. Outside is a balcony seating area with a table, bench and chairs where there is room for 4 to sit and eat or read during the evening. The setting amognst citrus trees was very pleasant and we were not bothered too much by biting insects. Having read other reviews we applied insect repellent each evening and burned citronella candles and we escaped with only a couple of small bites each. In conclusion the accommodation unit was fine for us with primary school kids it was not 'luxurious' but that's not what we were expecting and it was good value. The breakfasts were very nice indeed loads of choice, croissants, cheese, cold meat, yoghurt, toast, jam, cakes and doughnuts and everyday lovely fresh fruit too plus juices, tea coffee, well worth paying the extra for. The pool was small but beautifully clean we always got a seat and our children spent hours playing in the water happily. The pool bar meals served 12-2 were delicious and not bad value cost us about £30 for 4 lunches inc soft drinks. Steamer chairs 3 euros and loungers 5 euros a day worth it if you're staying in all day. The only downside was that the whole pool and bar area closed and gated off after 6pm so if you want to eat out or have drink out you have to leave the site. Not a huge problem for us as we like to sit and read in the evening and bought wine/beer very cheaply from local shops but if you like a bit more life in the evening then this maybe not the place for you. Overall a lovely friendly family holiday village, very relaxing.
