Fantastic Please book as you will not be disappointed. We had a lovely welcome at 11.45pm as we had travelled over 6 hours to get to Edinburgh. We called in advance and the manager who greeted our arrival was a very polite lady. The guest house should be listed as a small hotel as the standard is higher than a guest house. The entrance was very pretty and impressive with a large winding stairs to the bedrooms. The hall was decorated to a high standard. The family room had a double and two singles and as our family includes two young adults the room was large and we all had space to relax. The bathroom was to a high standard. The beds had lovely white cotton bedding. The whole room was very clean to a high standard and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast room was a large drawing room at the front and all tables had white linen clothes fresh flowers. The service for breakfast was brilliant. The cooked breakfast was to a high standard. The staff from arrival to leaving were very polite and friendly. I would definately recommend you book to stay as the cost per night is very good for the standard and service that you will receive. Older people will need to book ground floor bedrooms due to the large stairs.
