The room was clean and we had a sideways view of the sea from the bay window, which was a bonus. Breakfast was quick and hot. Big pluses - very close to the beach, spacious bedroom and bathroom. We have a big TV and jacuzzi in our room. Things to think about: Parking is tight in the road outside the hotel. You may have to park further afield. There is a choice at breakfast, but you have to ask for it, eg brown toast. It doesn't get offered. Presumably this speeds up the service. Hoovers and bags of laundry are stored in public areas, which detracts from the otherwise acceptable appearance. Gorleston is a very quaint 50's throwback seaside resort, and we enjoyed it, but we had to go to Lowestoft to find an evening meal.
