Clarence House is a beautifully presented hotel. The staff are attentive and always very helpful. Our room had a lovely private stairway, and a well designed en suite. The decor in the room is subtle and quaint, quite suited to the hotel's village location. The only negative was, having stayed for two nights, the glasses in our room had not been changed and the bed sheets weren't made properly. This is only a slight negative of our stay. We dined in the restaurant during our stay and have only positive things to say about the whole experience. There is a good range of choice on the A La Carte menu. When the food arrived it looked gorgeous on the plate and tasted even better! The waiter was attentive to our every need, without being over bearing.
