Although there are over 60 apartments very few were in use. All public area lights were on a timer switch - so at night the place was in darkness -which suited us. The swimming pool was rarely used, maybe because you should not eat, drink, play music or games or have a dog in the area. So the pool was not inviting to sit by, but nice to walk past on the way to the beautiful beaches. The apartments are in a quiet part of the resort so there was very little noise during the day or at night (I am a light sleeper and I slept all through the night). There was a supermarket with fresh fruit and bread on site. Restaurants and bars a couple of 100m away. Aparments are owned by different people and companies. There were no proper curtains in the sitting room which also had a double bed settee in it. There was a net curtain and unfortunately the pull down shutter that keeps the sunlight out and lets the air in was not just broken but missing. When we asked to move we were told they had no empty aparments (as the company that owned our aparment only owned a few - or perhaps that one - who knows). Despite that, if we came to Alcoceber again we would happily stay in the same aparment.
