This is a YMCA. No plug in the sink, it has a mesh over it, you cannot wash properly or shave. Very basic room, tired carpet especially in the lifts. No shops or restaurants within a fifteen minute walk. Staff were good. Beds were comfortable. We went for the price, maybe that was a mistake. Would not recommend or stay there again. Having said that we enjoyed Boston a lot and were hardly in the Hostel!

A terrible experience. It is not close to downtown as it suggests. A 30 min walk or a boat ride. Disinterested staff, corridors smell of cooking, room smelled of cigarette smoke. Room wasn't cleaned, beds left unmade, dirty cups left and clean ones not provided. The reception area is sterile and uninviting. It is also expensive.
