Still smart, though obviously not new, the Delfino is in a generally quiet location (the railway runs along the back, but the noise is hardly noticeable. It's a good twenty-minute walk into the city centre (the lakeside route is the best!), and there's a tourist 'road-train' if you prefer, plus buses and taxis of course.
The hotel's swimming pool is peaceful, with a bar just inside. The shower facilities for swimmers are adequate.
The breakfasts were the best of the three hotels we stayed in - lots of choice, good quality (though the coffee was not great!).
The receptionists were helpful and knowledgeable, and the bar and restaurant staff excellent - prompt, courteous, friendly, and seemed to enjoy their jobs!
The room was clean and smart, with a balcony that had a lake view (past the buildings!).
Overall, a definite hotel to return to!
