The hidden costs were rather vulgar. Niether bed linen nor towels were not provided, but could be hired (at a cost of 8 Euros for a set of bed linen and 8 Euros for a towel). No soap was provided, nor toilet paper. Of course, you can take bed linen, towels (inlcduing Tea Towels), soap and toilet paper with you to keep costs down. There was also a charge of between 45 - 50 Euros (depending on size of appartment) to clean the appartment aftre leaving. Again, you can clean the appratemnt yourself upon departure by purchasing cleaning products from a nearby supermarket but it did feel like a little heavy on single use consumerism.
Reception was closed when we arrived meaning we had to wait 2.5 hours to check in and gain access to the room (we were not made aware of this in booking information). WiFi is restricted to 30 min in total and only available between specific hours of the day (again not mentioned in the booking information)
This contrasted with a similar appartment we stayed at in Avignon that provided bed linen, towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, free WiFi 24/7, with a charge of 20 Euros if the bins were not emptied (a very simple, undemanding task).
