Great location right next to the beach, but as other reviews have mentioned, it is very isolated, so you need a car or be willing to use the hotel provided shuttle bus, for which there is a charge.
The service standards were variable, reception, waiting staff, housekeepers and the activities team were excellent, but Santo Café were generally arrogant if certain people were on duty.
Food was excellent, vast quantities and great choices, including a meat and fish every lunch and dinner. Dinner also included a char grilled option, which was excellent.
The free wine and beer, albeit one choice of beer, white wine and red wine was always on tap. Surprisingly, the coffee at breakfast was very poor, so I was very British and started taking tea!!
NOW - THE BIG ISSUE
This hotel is NOT all-inclusive despite it advertising as such. The actual provision is full board (see above - great!!) with free hot drinks at breakfast and free wine and beer with lunch and dinner. Plus there was pizza at 11am and cake at 4pm. Low quality local unbranded soft drinks and water were available at meal times in the restaurant, from Santo Café and the beach bar all day, but all other drinks of any kind were chargeable, as were ice creams. Therefore I do not accept this is all-inclusive.
OVERALL
A great holiday and actually very good value for money, just don't think you are getting an all-inclusive deal!
