This is a hotel which has live music, Disco etc. This went on until 01:30 seemed to carry on in peoples rooms until around 03:30.The constant thud of the music could be plainly heard. The Windows do nothing to curb the noise of the traffic on the main road outside the Hotel as they are the thinnest of double glazed units i have ever seen and i used to fit double glazing. The rooms are cramped and although decorated they are old and showing their age. The first thing i noticed was the bottom of the Divan bed which had no covering and it was badly marked and fraying and i have seen better bedclothes in Hospitals. The bathroom has everything you would expect to find, Small bath with shower ,toilet and double sinks but the shower head was old and looked like it had mould on it. The sink taps had lost there chrome and were reverting to the brass underneath. At night with the lights off if you looked at the door it was like a scene from close encounters with the light shining through all around where the door was so poorly fitted. It seemed like all the accomodation doors were built to slam shut as we found out when people (Girls) from the night club downstairs returned to there rooms. You could clearly here people using the lavatory in the room next door, washing hands flushing etc. When we returned to the hotel one night the security man outside was swearing down the phone and the use of bad language in front of customers didn't seem to bother him at all. All in all i would rather have slept in my car than use the "Hotel"
